I still can’t believe this adorable baby boy turned one! Yousef’s mommy knew exactly what theme she wanted for her little monkey’s first birthday, and I made sure this party was going to be filled with wild and fun details! We added rustic details and nature-inspired colors such as green, beige, brown, blue, orange, and yellow. The main table background was a ribbon backdrop with leaves, hanging monkeys, and a birthday banner. Some of the sweets we added were a cake and mini fruit tarts by Sukkar Cakes. Yousef’s mommy made some delicious sweets such as the chocolate balls, mini cheesecake cups, and creme caramel. We also added our homemade caramel popcorn and lemonade to the main table.

Yousef’s sister went bananas over the leaf headband I made for her to wear during the party. The favor were jars were filled with gummy bananas. We decorated each jar using labels we designed and the cutest mini monkeys that Yousef’s mommy had bought. The guest book alternative was a picture collage frame with a monkey shape in the middle for the guests to sign. Some games we prepared for the party were the “find the bananas” game and “feed the monkey-banana toss” game. The photo booth was a monkey face in hole poster with balloons. Happy 1st birthday Yousef! May all your days be filled with happiness and fun adventures!
