This cute little fashionista’s first birthday was one stylish party! Lara loves dressing up and  her mommy wanted a birthday that was fun, bright, and chic just like her adorable daughter. The details of this party were inspired by Kate Spade’s modern and bold style, and the colors were a mix of spring colors and gold.

We designed the dessert table backdrop by adding black and white stripes and flowers on top. The large pictures of Lara we used as part of the decor were taken by the talented photographer Shorooq Shalabi, and we designed the picture on the table to look like a magazine cover. We added different Kate Spade quotes to the “magazine” as headlines and a “Happy Birthday Lara” as the magazine’s name. The sweets were a beautiful “winking” cake by Sukkar Cakes inspired by Kate Spade’s style, mini sweets by Lara’s mom, and macaroons. We also added large blocks with the letters “ONE” in sparkly gold, a fashion inspired banner, juice, balloons, and lanterns to the dessert table. The favors were bubbles wrapped to match the theme. Happy 1st birthday Lara!
