Yes, summer is officially over, but some parts of the world are just not ready to let this beautiful season pass by. We were very lucky to be able to make a pool party possible during the month of October thanks to the beautiful weather in Jericho! This birthday boy loves to swim in the swimming pool, so this was the perfect theme for his first birthday. We made surfboards, palm trees, beach balls, and many other pool related items to the party in many different forms. The guests had a great time taking pictures with the birthday boy and celebrating this special day. Happy first birthday to one of the cutest little swimmers, Yamen!

The color combination was just perfect!
The dessert table. Everything about this table was pool/summer related. We decorated the table by making these surfboards and personalized banner as the table backdrop. The sweets were also pool related, and we placed everything in either pails or on “sand”.
All of the pictures added to the dessert table were of the birthday boy swimming. We also added two pictures of Yamen with his dad since their birthdays are only one day apart. Each picture had a surfboard that said “happy birthday to my favorite lifeguard, my daddy!”.

The adorable cake and cupcakes were made by Hanadi Fun Cakes. We made a “sand” display for the cupcakes.

Most of the sweets and snacks were placed in orange or yellow pails. We placed our homemade chocolate lollipops in fish bowls that were filled with “sand”.
